CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Providence College women's hockey team skated to a 3-1 win over Boston College on Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Lindsay Bochna (Toronto, Ontario) led the Friars with two goals, while Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I.) finished with 27 saves.

GAME FLOW & NOTES

-With two minutes left in the first period, Lindsay Bochna (Toronto, Ontario) netted the Friars' first goal of the day with help from Claire Tyo (Massena, N.Y.).
-Kiara Kraft (Churchville, N.Y.) scored her first career goal at 8:17 in the second period. Ashley Clark (North Weymouth, Mass.) assisted the play.
-Boston College's Molly Jordan converted on a power play (2-1) at the 13:56 mark. Abby Newhook and Jansen Lucas were each credited with an assist.
-Rachel Weiss (Calgary, Alberta) and Maddy Coene (Clayton, N.Y.) assisted Bochna to her second goal with three minutes left in regulation to make the final score 3-1.
-Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I.) finished the day with 27 saves. 
-Providence has posted a 6-1-2 record in its last nine Hockey East games to improve to 10-8-2 in league action.
