BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Providence College women's hockey team defeated the University of Vermont, 4-3, in overtime on Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Gutterson Fieldhouse in Burlington, Vt.
Lindsay Bochna (Toronto, Ontario) scored the game-winner in overtime, while
Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I.) finished the night with 13 saves.

-Vermont's Natalie Mlynkova converted on a power play (1-0) 6:36 into the second period. Krista Parkkonen and Evelyne Blais-Savoie were each credited with an assist.

KC Brooks (Colorado Springs, Colo.) assisted
Grace Shirley (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) to the Friars' first goal of the night at 12:11 in the second period.
-Kaylee Lewis scored Vermont's second power play goal (2-1) at 15:08 with help from Parkkonen and Mlynkova.
-One minute later, Becker tied the score, 2-2, with
Ashley Clark (North Weymouth, Mass.) and
Cristina Cavaliere (Mississauga, Ontario) each earning an assist on the play.
-Lewis netted a power play goal at 18:50 in the third period, 3-2. Lily Humphrey and Blais-Savoie each earned an assist.
-On a power play with 30 seconds left in regulation, Bochna and
Rachel Weiss (Calgary, Alberta) helped Becker to the equalizer to send the game into overtime. The goal marked Becker's first multi-goal game of her career.
-Bochna netted the game-winner nine seconds into overtime to make the final score 4-3. Lauren Deblois (Lewiston, Maine) and Weiss were each credited with an assist.
