Women’s Hockey Shuts Out New Hampshire, 6-0

Reichen Kirchmair tallied four points, while Mireille Kingsley finished the night with 27 saves.

DURHAM, N.H. – The Providence College women's hockey team shutout New Hampshire, 6-0, on Friday, Dec. 8 at the Whittemore Center in Durham, N.HReichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ontario) tallied four points, while Mireille Kingsley (Sudbury, Ontario) finished the night with 27 saves.

GAME FLOW & NOTES
 
-Providence struck first 12:57 into the first period when Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ontario) netted a goal with help from Lindsay Bochna (Oakville, Ontario) and Lauren DeBlois (Lewiston, Maine).
 
-Mégane Quirion (Saint Eustache, Quebec) gave the Friars a 2-0 lead with 12 second left in the first. Rachel Weiss (Calgary, Alberta) assisted the goal. 
 
-Weiss gave the Friars a 3-0 edge over the Wildcats with a goal 8:08 into the second period. Kirchmair was credited with the assist.
 
-At the 12:41 mark, Weiss and Lily Hendrikson (Edina, Minn.) assisted Kirchmair to her second goal of the night, 4-0.

-Bochna tallied a goal, 5-0, at the 3:12 mark of the third period with Kirchmair assisting.
 
-Kirchmair's performance marks her highest multi-point game with two goals and two points.
 
-Hendrikson scored the final goal of the night, 6-0, with two minutes left in regulation. KC Brooks (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and Kayla Kutes (Kirkland, Wa.) were each credited with an assist.

Mireille Kingsley (Sudbury, Ontario) finished the night with 27 saves.
