Men’s Basketball Enters The Rankings At No. 25 in Associated Press Poll

Friars will return to action on Jan. 3 vs. Seton Hall at 6:30 p.m. on FS1.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College men's basketball team is ranked No. 25 in the most recent Associated Press Poll, which was released today (December 25). Last week, the Friars earned wins over then No. 6/6 Marquette (72-57) on December 19 and Butler (85-75) in overtime on December 23.

The Friars (11-2, 2-0) have won four straight games and are in first place in the BIG EAST. Providence has posted a 4-2 mark in Quad 1 and Quad 2 games with wins over Marquette, Wisconsin, Georgia and Butler.

The Friars will return to action versus Seton Hall on Wednesday, January 3 at 6:30 p.m. on FS1.
