GAME FLOW & NOTES
-The Huskies struck 7:17 into the first period with a goal from Taze Thompson. Skylar Irving and Jules Constantinople assisted the goal.
-
Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ontario) tied the score 41 seconds into the second period with help from Mégane Quirion (Saint Eustache, Quebec) and
Brooke Becker (Orchard Park, N.Y.).
-Northeastern's Katy Knoll responded with a goal two minutes later to give the Huskies a 2-1 lead. Skylar Irving and Abbey Marohn were each credited with an assist.
-After Becker received a two-minute minor for high sticking at 13:23, Allie Lalonde scored with help from Tory Mariano and Skylar Irving to extend the Northeastern lead to 3-1.
-Four minutes into the final period, Northeastern improved the lead to three goals with a tally from Taze Thompson. Jules Constantinople and Mia Langlois assisted the goal.
-With one minute left in regulation, Quirion and
Hannah Johnson (Readfield, Maine) assisted
Lily Martinson (Allen, Texas) to the Friars' second goal to make the final score 4-2.
