The Friars improve their win-streak to three.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's soccer team defeated the Creighton Blue Jays, 3-1, on Sunday, Oct.1 on Chapey Field at Anderson Field in Providence, R.I. Senior forward Meg Hughes (Rochester, Mass.) scored two goals in the match to lead the Friars and now ranks in the top seven all-time in career scoring at Providence College with 55 points. It marked the second two-goal game of Hughes' career.

GAME FLOW AND NOTES
-PC opened the scoring early in the match after Kyla Gallagher (Farmington, Conn.) scored a PK.
-Seven minutes later, Hughes followed up with the second goal for the Friars.
-Andrine Westlie put the Blue Jays on the board in the 31st minute, scoring a header off Hannah Luke's corner kick.
-Hughes scored her second goal of the game 63 minutes in, finishing Ella McBride's (Peterborough, Canada) deflected shot.
