-The Catamounts struck first
9:55 into play when Natalie Mlynkova scored. Corinne McCool and Theresa Schafzahl each earned an assist.
-Corinne McCool recorded Vermont's second goal for a 2-0 lead at the
12:57 mark of first period, with help from Lilly Holmes.
-Lara Beecher gave the Catamounts a 3-0 lead with
3:32 left in the first. Hailey Burns and Evelyne Blais-Savoie assisted the goal.

Hunter Barnett (Caledon, Ontario) netted the Friars' lone goal at the
14:27 mark of the second period with help from
Ashley Clark (North Weymouth, Mass.) and
Maddy Coene (Clayton, N.Y.).
-The score remained 3-1 heading into the second intermission.
-Vermont's Lilly Holmes scored the final goal of the game on an empty net with
1:47 left to play to make the final score 4-1.
