Men’s Basketball To Play At TCU In The BIG EAST/Big 12 Battle

Friars will play the Horned Frogs on Wednesday, November 30.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- It was announced today (May 19) that the Providence College Friars would travel to Fort Worth, Texas to play TCU in the BIG EAST/Big 12 Battle on Wednesday, Nov. 30. The matchup will feature two teams that participated in the 2022 NCAA Tournament.

The Friars, who posted a 27-6 mark, won the BIG EAST Regular Season title and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2022, will play at TCU for the first time since 2020. In 2020, the two teams met at TCU for the BIG EAST/Big 12 Battle and the Friars earned a 79-70 win to improve to 1-1 all-time versus the Horned Frogs. It will mark the Friars fourth game all-time in the BIG EAST/Big 12 Battle. The Friars have registered a 3-0 mark with wins versus Texas in 2019, at TCU in 2020 and at home versus Texas Tech in 2021.
