BOSTON, Mass. – Junior Isabelle Hardy scored the game-winning goal 3:36 into overtime as the Providence College women's hockey team downed Boston University, 2-1, on Saturday night in Boston, Mass. in their final game of the 2022 regular season.

-The Friars struck first with a power play goal for Lily Hendrikson (Edina, Minn.) at 11:41 of the first period. Hendrikson was assisted by Lauren DeBlois (Lewiston, Maine)
 
-Boston University leveled the score, 1-1, with a goal from Ellie Larson at the 8:49 mark of the second period.
 
- Both teams skated through the final twenty minutes scoreless and entered overtime for the second consecutive game, as the Terriers outshot the Friars in the period, 14-6.

-Isabelle Hardy (Oakville, Ontario) netted the overtime game-winner with 1:24 remaining in extra time. DeBlois and Linsday Bochna (Toronto, Ontario) earned the assists.
