PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's hockey team was blanked, 0-2, by the UConn Huskies on Saturday, Feb. 12 at Schneider Arena. The loss ended a five game win streak for the Friars, a season-high.

-UConn got on the board, 1-0, with a power play goal after Brooke Becker (Orchard Park, N.Y.) was whistled for an interference at 10:03.
-Providence pulled Sandra Abstreiter (Freising, Germany) with 1:40 remaining in play. UConn put one in the empty net, 2-0, with 40 seconds to go in regulation.
-Abstreiter recorded 35 saves in net for the Friars for a .972 save percentage on the night.
