HAMDEN, Conn. – The No. 10 Providence College women's hockey team rallied from two goals down to defeat No. 3 Quinnipiac University, 3-2, on Saturday, Dec. 10 at M&T Bank Arena in Hamden, Conn.
Sandra Abstreiter finished the day with 46 saves.

-The Bobcats struck first at the 6:40 mark when Kendall Cooper scored with help from Olivia Mobley and Madison Chantler.
-The Bobcats' Nina Steigauf scored at 9:44 for a 2-0 lead. Maya Labad earned the assist on the goal.
-Providence got on the board 4:03 into the second period when
Rachel Weiss (Calgary, Alberta) scored a goal off a pass from
Caroline Peterson (East Falmouth, Mass.).
Claire Tyo (Massena, N.Y.) earned the secondary assist.

Sara Hjalmarsson (Bankeryd, Sweden) scored on a second attempt 13:35 into the second period to tie the score, 2-2.
Noemi Neubauerova (Prague, Czech Republic) and Tyo were each credited with an assist.
-Neubauerova scored the game-winning-goal 8:26 into the third period to give the Friars a 3-2 lead. Tyo and
KC Brooks (Colorado Springs, Colo.) assisted on the goal.

- Tyo registered a career-high three points on three assists.
- The Friars notched their second win against a ranked opponent this season, downing No. 8 Northeastern, 3-0, back on Nov. 15.
