Esben Wolf (Copenhagen, Denmark) and
Gil Santos (Parede, Portugal) each contributed to the Friars' three points.

- Providence had a slow start as the Golden Eagles took the first three shots of the game.

Brendan McSorley (Randolph, N.J.) responded with back-to-back shot attempts to start the Friars off.

Ramzi Qawasmy (Lansdale, Pa.) recorded a huge block in the 32
nd minute to maintain the 0-0 tie.
- Lukas Sunesson converted on a penalty kick in the 44
th minute to give Marquette a 1-0 lead after a Friar handball in the box.
- Providence was able to tie the Golden Eagles after forcing an own goal in the 60
th minute.
- Marquette's Beto Solo had an immediate response as he struck the ball from just outside the box in the 62
nd minute to put the Golden Eagles back on top, 2-1.

Gil Santos scored in the late minutes of the game. Wolf scored his first goal of the season off a header from
Armaan Wilson (Kleinburg, Ontario) and Santos took a strong strike at the top of the box.
- Marquette's Tristan Ronnestad-Stevens received a red card in the 89
th minute of the game, giving the Friars the 11 on 10 advantage.
-The Golden Eagles took advantage of an open net in the 89
th minute by taking long shot from over 30 yards out for the equalizer.
- The Friars outshot the Golden Eagles 16-15 and maintained the 8-7 edge on corner kicks.

Lukas Burns (Cinnaminson, N.J.) collected a season-high seven saves.
