PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's soccer team defeated DePaul, 2-1, on Thursday, Oct. 6 on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium in Providence, R.I. Junior
Kyla Gallagher (Farmington, Conn.) and sophomore
Gillian Kenney (Hanover, Mass.) each scored for the Friars. With the win, the Friars improved to 4-7-1 overall and 2-2-0 in conference play.

st minute, Gallagher gave the Friars the advantage off a cross pass from
Meg Hughes (Rochester, Mass.).
Gillian Kenney (Hanover, Mass.) passed down field to Hughes to set up the play.
-The Friars outshot the Blue Demons 6-2 in the first half. Four of the Friars six shots were on goal.
-DePaul had the only two corner kicks of the half.
-Kenney gave Providence a two-goal lead in the 57
th minute. Gallagher assisted on the goal.
