Villanova, Pa. – The Providence College women's soccer team defeated the Villanova Wildcats, 2-1, on Monday, April 5 at the Higgins Sports Complex in Villanova, Pa.
Amber Birchwell (Mastic, N.Y.) scored the game-winning goal for the Friars in the 88
th minute. The Friars improve to 7-2-1 overall, 5-2-1 in BIG EAST play. The Wildcats drop to 2-10-2 overall, 1-6-2 in BIG EAST play.
