Providence, R.I. – The Providence College women's soccer team tied the #12 Georgetown Hoyas, 0-0, on Thursday, March 25 at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium in Providence, R.I. The Friars remain undefeated at home this season, holding a 4-0-1 record at home. The Friars are now 5-2-1 overall, 3-2-1 in BIG EAST play. The Hoyas remain undefeated, holding an 8-0-1 overall record, 6-0-1 in BIG EAST play.

GAME FLOW & NOTES
-Providence had the best scoring opportunity in the first half. In the 20th minute, Avery Snead (Wrentham, Mass.) had a shot in the box that was saved by Georgetown's Alyssa Navarette.
-Georgetown had five corners in the first half while Providence had two corners.
- Hannah McNulty (Warwick, R.I.) had two great shots in the second half. McNulty had her first shot on goal saved by Georgetown's Lauren Gallagher. The shot was then rebounded back to McNulty who shot it again, but the second shot was saved.
-After 90 minutes of play, the score was tied 0-0.
-The Friars applied the pressure, registering eight shots in the second half. Three of those shots were on goal.
- Neither team registered a shot on goal in either of the overtime periods.
-Both teams ended the game with 15 shots and four shots on goal.
-Providence remains undefeated at home this season. Providence holds a home record of 4-0-1.
- This is the fifth shutout of the season for the Friars.
