PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The sixth Ed Cooley Radio Show of the season will air from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14. The show will air on NewsTalk 99.7 FM and AM 630 WPRO. The show is hosted by the long-time voice of the Friars John Rooke and will feature interviews with WPRO's Kevin McNamara, the Friars' A.J. Reeves and Friar academic coordinator Jaime Lipski.  The show also can be streamed online at www.997wpro.com and https://thevarsitynetwork.com/audioapplink/source/oas-1499. The show will also be available on WPRO's podcast website after airing at https://www.997wpro.com/podcasts/.

The Friars have opened the season 10-1, which marks the team's best start since 2015-16. On Saturday, Dec. 11 Providence concluded their non-conference schedule and defeated Central Connecticut, 68-53, at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence R.I. The Friars will begin conference play on Saturday, Dec. 18 against BIG EAST foe #20/#22 UConn at the XL Center in Hartford, Conn. Tip-off is set for 5:00 p.m. on FOX.
