Men's Soccer Ranked 18th In Latest National Poll

The Friars will face Butler in Thursday's BIG EAST Semifinal.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College men's soccer team is ranked 18th in the most recent United Soccer Coaches National Poll, released today [Nov. 9]. The Friars have been ranked among the top-25 for eight-consecutive weeks. Last week, Providence was ranked 16th in the poll.

Providence is currently 9-3-4 overall, including a 5-2-3 mark in the BIG EAST Conference. The Friars also have posted a 3-1-0 record vs. nationally ranked opponents.
After finishing second in the BIG EAST standings and earning a bye through the quarterfinals, the Friars will battle Butler in the BIG EAST Semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 11 on the campus of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. (ET) and the match will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network via FloSports.
