PROVIDENCE, R.I.-Â The Providence College volleyball team returns home after a weekend on the road to host Butler and Xavier. The Friars will take on the Bulldogs on Friday, Nov. 5 at 6:00 p.m. and the Musketeers on Sunday, Nov. 7 at 1:00 p.m. Both matches will be broadcast live on Flosports.

SCOUTING THE FRIARS:Â Providence enters the weekend 15-10 overall (3-9 BIG EAST). The Friars fell to DePaul in four sets and Marquette in straight sets in their most recent BIG EAST action.Â

Allison Barber (Woodbury, Minn.) ranks third in the BIG EAST in assists per set (9.72).

Maryanne Boyle (Blacklick, Ohio) ranks second on the team in kills (164) and ninth in the BIG EAST in hitting percentage (.296).

Shaliyah Rhoden (Rowlett, Texas) ranks first in kills (301) for the Friars and seventh in the BIG EAST. The freshman averages 3.31 kills per set.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS:Â Butler comes to Providence with a 13-12 record (7-5 BIG EAST). The Bulldogs rank fourth in the BIG EAST standings after defeating Xavier (3-0) and falling to UConn (0-3) this past weekend. Butler has won four of its last five matches.

Madison Friebel has registered 637 assists on the season and ranks seventh in the BIG EAST in assists per set (8.49).

Jaymeson Kinley ranks first in the BIG EAST in digs per set (5.27).Â

Melody Davidson is fourth in the BIG EAST in blocks per set (1.20) and averaging a team-high 3.12 kills per set.

SCOUTING THE MUSKETEERS:Â Xavier stands at 10-13 (5-7 in the BIG EAST). Xavier fell to Butler in straight sets before falling to UConn in five this past weekend.

Carrigan O'Reilly ranks fifth in the BIG EAST in assists per set, averaging 9.13. She has tallied 794 assists on the season.
Stevie Wolf and Alyssa Overbeck rank ninth (3.39) and 13th (3.08), respectively, in digs per set in the BIG EAST.

Delaney Hogan leads the Musketeers in kills (197).

WHAT'S NEXT:Â Providence will travel to Villanova and Georgetown on Friday, Nov. 12 and Saturday, Nov. 13, respectively, as the team rounds out their BIG EAST lineup.
