OMAHA, Neb. –The 16
th-ranked Providence College Friars men's soccer team was defeated at Creighton, 2-1, in the team's final BIG EAST regular season game. The Friars finished the regular season in second place with 18 points and earned a bye in the first round of the BIG EAST Tournament. It marks the Friars' best finish in the BIG EAST regular season since finishing first in 2016. The Friars will play the winner of the BIG EAST First Round game (St. John's vs. Butler) at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11 at Georgetown in the BIG EAST Semifinals. The BIG EAST Championship game will be at Georgetown on Sunday, Nov. 14 at noon on FS2.
