PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The New England Hockey Writers Association announced today (March 28) that Providence College junior forward Josh Wilkins (Raleigh, N.C.) was named a New England Men's Division I All-Star. In total, 14 players were recognized as all-stars for the 2018-19 season.

Wilkins boasted his best season while at Providence, recording his third-consecutive season of 30-plus points. In 2018-19, he has totaled career-highs in goals (16), assists (24), and points (40) while becoming the 53rd member of the program to reach the 100-point mark. The junior also had an NCAA-long 13-game point streak earlier this season (7-12-19) from Nov. 10 through Jan. 15. He is the seventh forward in Providence College history to earn First Team Hockey East All-Star honors.
