Providence Track Wins 4x800 Meters At Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Providence men's track & field team competed at the second day of the Raleigh Relays on Saturday, March 31. The second day of the Raleigh Relays was highlighted by the team of Nick Carleo (Newburyport, Mass.), Michael O'Leary (St. James, N.Y.), Jack Carleo (Newburyport, Mass.) and Ryan Jendzejec (Chappaqua, N.Y.) winning the 4x800 meters. The team ran a time of 7:31.62 to win by six seconds over Akron and the University of North Carolina.
The Friars' next race will be at Providence's only home meet of the season, the Ocean State Invitational. The meet will take place on Friday, April 13 at the Ray Treacy Track.
