Rodney Bullock Named To The USBWA All-District 1 Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – It was announced on Tuesday, March 6 that Providence College senior forward Rodney Bullock (Hampton, Va.) was named to the USBWA All-District I Team. It marks the second consecutive season that Bullock was named to the USBWA All-District 1 Team.

Bullock leads the team in scoring (14.1 ppg). He is second on the squad in rebounding (5.8 rpg). Bullock has scored 20 or more points six times this season, including a season-high 31 points versus Sacred Heart on December 22. Bullock ranks 21st all-time in scoring at Providence with 1,342 points.

The Friars, 19-12 and 10-8 in BIG EAST action, return to play on Thursday, March 8 versus Creighton (21-10, 10-8) in the BIG EAST Quarterfinals at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Friars are in search of their third BIG EAST title (1994 and 2014) and fifth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
