CHICAGO, ILL. – Providence College volleyball defeats DePaul on the road on Oct. 26 in Chicago, Ill. With the win the Friars are now 8-14 on the season and are 2-9 in BIG EAST play.

FIRST SET HIGHLIGHTS:Â
- The Friars took the first set against the Blue Demons, 25-20.Â

- Providence held DePaul to a .111 hitting percentage.

- Allison Impellizeri (Seaford, N.Y.) led the Friars' attack recording four kills and a hitting percentage of .800.

- Barber tallied nine assists in the first set.

SECOND SET HIGHLIGHTS:
- Providence came back after an unsteady start to set two, to win the set 26-24.

- The Friars recorded three total team blocks.

- Root was the strong force for the Providence offense in set two, tallying eight kills.

-  Alderson and Schaible were not far behind with four and two kills apiece. Â

- Barber contributed to the Friars' attack recording 15 assists, to lead all players in the set.

- Taylor and Alderson led the Providence defense tallying three and two digs, respectively. Â

THIRD SET HIGHLIGHTS:
- The Friars claimed the third set against the Blue Demons, 25-23.

- Root and Impellizeri led the Friars' attack recording four kills apiece.

- Sarah Daneliak (Naperville, Ill.) and Alderson contributed to the Providence offense with three and two kills, respectively. Â

- Barber recorded 13 assists in the third set.

- Taylor tallied five digs, to lead the Friars' defense.
