MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.- The Providence College women's soccer team was defeated by the University of Minnesota on Sunday, Sept. 3, 1-0 in double overtime. The Golden Gophers posted the lone goal of the game at 109:34 to earn the victory. The Friars move to 1-4-0 on the season. The Golden Gophers improve to 3-1-2.
