Oakley Named BIG EAST Athlete of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The BIG EAST announced its weekly Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week and Honor Roll on Tuesday, April 25. Graduate Student Julian Oakley (Tauranga, New Zealand) was named BIG EAST Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Larry Ellis Invitational on April 21. Oakley finished fourth overall in a time of 3:43.04. The time is the fastest in the BIG EAST this season and ranks 16th in the NCAA East Region.
