BIG EAST Field Hockey Championship Pre-Tournament Press Conference

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - On Thursday, Nov. 2, the four teams who qualified for the 2017 BIG EAST Field Hockey Championship, presented by Jeep, held practices at Lennon Family Field in Providence, R.I. and attended pre-tournament press conferences.

The Providence College field hockey team was represented at the press conference by Head Coach Diane Madl, senior midfielder Megan Hamilton and freshman defender Manon van Weezel.

BIG EAST Tournament action is slated to begin on Friday, Nov. 3. The first semifinal will feature Providence College and top-ranked Connecticut at 1:00 p.m. The second semifinal is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. and will showcase a match-up between Liberty and Old Dominion. The winner of each semifinal will advance to the Championship Game on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 1:00 p.m.
