Head Coach Ed Cooley Left Today's Game Versus Xavier

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - With 19:35 remaining in the Providence College men's basketball game at Xavier University today (Feb. 7), Friar Head Coach Ed Cooley left the court as he was not feeling well. Cooley was then taken to a hospital in Cincinnati.

The team traveled back to Providence and Cooley remained in Cincinnati and will spend the night at the hospital.

It is not expected that there will be any more information released tonight. Any updates on Coach Cooley's status will be released when it becomes available.
