PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College men's basketball team defeated Brown, 94-73, on Saturday, Nov. 21 at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, R.I. The Friars improved to 3-0 on the season, while the Bears fell to 1-3.

Two Friars recorded double-doubles versus the Bears. Sophomore Rodney Bullock (Hampton, Va.) scored a game and career-high of 24 points and also grabbed 10 boards. Junior Kris Dunn (New London, Conn.) scored 11 points and contributed 10 assists. Dunn also added seven rebounds and six steals to his stat line. In addition, freshman Ryan Fazekas (Chesterton, Ind.) had 17 points, sophomore Jalen Lyndsey (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) registered 14 points and junior Junior Lomomba (Montreal, Quebec) recorded 11 points.

In the first half, the Friars maintained the lead for 17:05 minutes, with the largest lead of 10 coming at the 10:25 mark. Fazekas paced the Friars with eight points in the first half, going 2-of-3 from three-point territory. Lomomba also contributed with seven points, shooting 2-of-2 from the three-point mark.

The first half finished with a 10-point Providence lead, 45-35. The first half featured three lead changes and two ties. Brown's Justin Massey led all in the first with nine points.

The Friars dominated the entire second half, with the largest lead of 28 points coming with 3:32 left in the game, 91-63. Providence did not let the lead fall to under eight points in the second half.

For the game, the Friars shot 33-of-58 (56.9%) from the field and held the advantage in the paint (32-26). PC shot a season best 12-27 (44.4%) from three point territory in the win.

Massey and Travis Fuller each had 12 points to lead the Bears.

The Friars will return to action on Monday, November 23 when they host NJIT at 6:30 p.m. at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. The game will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
