PROVIDENCE, R.I. - One of Providence College men's basketball Head Coach Ed Cooley's recruits for the upcoming 2012-13 season has been selected to play in the All-American Championship in New Orleans, La. Ricardo Ledo (Providence, R.I.) will play for the East team in the Championship. Ledo, who is ranked 19th nationally, helps make up a recruiting class for the Friars which is ranked eighth in the nation according to ESPN.com.
This year's All-American Championship will take place on Sunday, April 1, with the tip-off between East and West at 3:00 p.m. and North and South at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN3. The games will air on ESPNU at 9:00 p.m. Ledo is on the East team roster with fellow New Englanders Nerlens Noel (Everett, Mass./undecided) and Kaleb Tarczewski (Claremont, N.H./Arizona).
