Friar Harriers Conley, Hankinson Named American Eagle Outfitters Scholar-Athletes

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College seniors Christina Conley (Andover, Mass.) and Stephen Hankinson (Summit, N.J.) have been selected to receive 2010-11 American Eagle Outfitters BIG EAST Institutional Scholar Athlete Scholarships. The awards, to be given at the Athletic Department's end-of-year banquet, will be applied to the student-athletes' post-graduate studies.
Conley has been a four-year member of the Friars' indoor and outdoor track programs, and a two-year competitor for Providence cross country. The Psychology major has been named to the BIG EAST Academic All-Star team each year, and has been named to the Dean's List in each and every semester.
Hankinson has been a four-year member of both the cross country and track teams. The Economics major and Math Minor has also earned a spot on the BIG EAST Academic All-Star Team every year he has been a Friar. He has also been an active member of the Student Advisory Council, which sponsors countless community service activities throughout the year.
