NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - The Providence College volleyball team (3-18) lost at Central Connecticut (8-3) by the score of 3-0, Wednesday night in Detrick Gymnasium. PC lost by game scores of 30-16, 30-19 and 30-18.

Senior Annie Fiorvanti (Northport, N.Y.) led the Friars with 12 assists and five digs. Senior Allison Baker (Glastonbury, Conn.) had six kills and four digs while freshman Nonie Ferguson (Davie, Fla.) totaled five kills.

The Friars have a week off before they return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 12. PC will host Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m.
