PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College men's basketball Head Coach Tim Welsh, along with seniors Marcus Douthit (Syracuse, N.Y.), Sheiku Kabba (Bronx, N.Y.), junior Ryan Gomes (Waterbury, Conn.) and sophomore Donnie McGrath (Katonah, N.Y.), had a chance to sit down with the local media on Monday, March 8 to discuss the close of the regular season and the upcoming BIG EAST Championship tournament.

Providence College, the No. 3 seed, has received a first-round bye and will commence play in the BIG EAST Championship on Thursday, March 11 at 9:00 p.m. on ESPN. The Friars will face the winner of the No. 6 Seton Hall vs. No. 11 Villanova game.
