LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - The Providence College volleyball team (4-20) was defeated by Siena College (8-12) by the score of 3-0 this evening. The Friars lost by scores of 19-30, 32-30, 16-30 and 15-30.
Three PC players totaled double-digit kill totals including senior captain Ayana Cadres (Los Angeles, Calif.) who had 14 kills and 13 digs. That effort was also her fifth double-double of the season. Sophomore Kerry Schulz (Fairfield, Conn.) totaled 11 kills, as did junior Allison Baker (Glastonbury, Conn.). Schulz also had eight digs.
Junior Annie Fiorvanti (Northport, N.Y.) had 36 assists while senior Jennifer Backes (Seaford, N.Y.) added 13 digs.
Providence volleyball returns to action this Friday, Oct. 29 as it heads to Fairfield, Conn., for a 7:00 p.m. contest against the Stags.
