The Friars made their 15th-consecutive appearance at NCAA Cross Country Championship held in Waterloo, Iowa on November 24, and finished third. As a team, Providence won its third NCAA Northeast Regional title and finished second at the BIG EAST Conference Championship. Ray Treacy was named 2003 Northeast Regional Coach of the Year. It marked the seventh time since 1990 that Treacy has earned the honor.
