PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College fell to Eastern Washington, 3-0 (30-22, 30-17, 30-21), in volleyball action on Monday, September 15 at Mullaney Gymnasium in Providence, R.I. The Friars fall to 0-10 while Eastern Washington evens its record at 6-6.
Providence sophomore Katie Fleming (Cary, N.C.) led the offense with a match-high 12 kills and anchored the defense with a match-high nine digs. Junior Ayana Cadres (Los Angeles, Calif.) and sophomore Allison Baker (Glastonbury, Conn.) notched six digs apiece for the Friars.
Eastern Washington's Keva Sonderen had 10 kills on 19 total attacks and a .421 hitting percentage to lead the Eagles.
Providence returns to action on Wednesday, September 17 at Central Connecticut. The match will begin at 7:00 p.m.
