The Providence College women's soccer team defeated the University of Pittsburgh, 2-0, on Friday, October 11 in Providence, R.I.

The Friars, who have never beaten the Panthers, got on the board early in the 5th minute when sophomore Shannon McMorrow (Boca Raton, Fla.) scored unassisted off a rebound from her previously attempted shot. The tallies gave McMorrow and O'Malley two and three goals on the year respectively.
