CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Providence College volleyball team was defeated at Boston College, 3-0, in a BIG EAST Conference volleyball match on Friday, November 9 at BC's Power Gym.
PC senior outside hitter Sarah Katinger (Stratford, Conn.) led the Friars with 13 kills and nine digs. Her classmate, Annie Cella (Burr Ridge, Ill.) added eight kills and 18 digs in the loss.
Boston College had two players in double-figure kills. Katie Anderson and Nancy Legan each totalled 11 kills while Anderson added 14 defensive digs.
The Friars return to action on Saturday, November 10 when they travel to the University of Connecticut for their final contest of the season.
