The men's indoor track team competed at the Boston University Open on December 2.
Sophomore Chris Livesey (Preston, England), senior Larry Morrissey (Waterford, Ireland) and junior Dermot Galvin (Kilrush, Ireland) all placed first for the Friars. Livesey won the 800 meters (1:54.55), Morrissey captured the mile (4:14.61) and Galvin earned a win in the 3,000 meters (8:13.31).
The Friars also captured second and third in the 3,000 as sophomore Adam Sutton (Preston, England) placed second (8:15.00) and sophomore Tyler McCabe (Mystic, Conn.) was third (8:18.22). Freshman Nick McCormick (Northumberland, England) was impressive in the mile, finishing second in a time of 4:14.84.
