The men's track team scored 20 points and finished fifth of nine teams at the Boston University Open on December 4. Freshman Chris Livesey (Preston, England) was PC's top finisher, placing first in the 800 meters in a time of 1:56.21. In the 3,000 meters, freshman Adam Sutton (Preston, England) placed second (8:32.12) and junior Ciaran Lynch (Limerick, Ireland) finished fourth (8:39.74). Senior Larry Morrissey (Waterford, Ireland) and sophomore Dermot Galvin (Kilrush, Ireland) each scored for PC in the mile. Morrissey placed second (4:10.15) and Galvin was third (4:12.62). The Friars return to action on January 15 at the New England Challenge at Brown.
