Surlas, a 5-8 junior guard, led the CAA in scoring with 18.1 points per game while averaging 15.6 overall for the season. The high scoring guard hit 56 threes a year ago. The other returning starters for George Mason are senior forward Chrissy Todd and senior point guard Courtney Kaup who led the team with 147 assists.
