Taylor Parry enters her first year as a graduate assistant for the softball program. She is responsible for travel arrangements, community service coordination, academic support, team scheduling, practice and game involvement and management of the undergraduate managers. Parry is currently pursuing her Master’s in Special Education.
Prior to becoming a graduate assistant for the softball program, Parry graduated from Salve Regina University in 2018. She played two years on the softball team before suffering a career-ending injury. The next two years Parry decided to be the team manager, as Salve Regina reached the DIII Regionals in both years, 2016 and 2017.
Parry was awarded with the Sister Philemon Banigan Award by the Salve Regina University Athletic Department in her senior year. The award is "presented to an individual who through his or her efforts and dedication behind the scenes makes a positive contribution to the intercollegiate athletics program. Named in honor of Sister Mary Philemon Banigan who was a pioneer in athletics for the school during its formative years.” Parry earned this award in result to her job as head game-manager for home contests. Her teams included men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s ice hockey, and field hockey.
