Coach Halvarson started his cheer career at Cranston East High School in Cranston, RI. He attended  The Ohio State University for his undergraduate studies where he was part of their cheer program, graduating in 2018. During his senior year the team placed 3rd in the nation, which was their highest placement since 2003. Since graduating he has cheered for the Columbus Destroyers and Boston Celtics. He joined Friartown as the assistant coach of the cheer team in 2019 and has now transitioned into being the Spirit Program Graduate Assistant.
