Freshman Brooke Rubin (Cranston, R.I.) won the No. 2 singles title at the New England Tennis Championship on Oct. 25 at Burlington, Vt. Rubin posted a 3-0 record at the tournament, which included a 6-1, 6-3 win against Ally Erasmous of URI in the Championship match on Oct. 25. She leads the women's team with a 14-4 mark.

Sophomore Andrew Bussmann (Guilford, Conn.) scored one goal and added one assist in PC's two BIG EAST wins on Oct. 21 and Oct. 24. Bussmann scored the game-winning goal in the men's soccer team's 2-1 victory against Notre Dame on Oct. 21. On Oct. 24, the sophomore midfielder assisted on Chris Holterhoff's game-tying goal in the Friars' 2-1 win against 11th ranked Georgetown.
