Freshman Annie Cella (Burr Ridge, IL) helped the volleyball team to a 2-1 overall week including their first BIG EAST victory of the season over Seton Hall. Cella recorded 36 kills during the week and a total of 39 digs. She recorded a team high 16 kills in the 3-1 loss at Rutgers the notched 13 kills versus Seton Hall.

Freshman Caitlyn Welsh (Winter Springs, Fla) scored her first collegiate goal, the game winner in the Friars' 3-0 win over Loyola of Chicago. Welsh also assisted on one of Melissa Crowley's two goals in the game. She is second on the team in scoring with a goal and five assists for seven points.
