PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College Athletic Director Robert G. Driscoll announced the promotions of Mark Devine to Senior Associate Athletic Director and Joseph D'Antonio to Associate Athletic Director Compliance/Business Office. Devine and D'Antonio each had been an assistant athletic director at the College.
Devine, a 1993 graduate of Providence College, began his tenure in the athletic department in 1993 as a graduate assistant. Prior to his promotion to Senior Associate Athletic Director, he served as Assistant Athletic Director for seven years. Devine, who played hockey for the Friars, also is in his ninth year as the manager of PC's Schneider Arena.
D'Antonio, a 1990 graduate of the College, began his service at Providence in 1997 as the athletic department's Compliance Coordinator and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance in January 2001.
