PC Greats To Attend Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Friar Golf Classic

The Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Friar Golf Classic will take place on Monday, September 25 at the Warwick Country Club in Warwick, R.I. The event will begin with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. All proceeds from the event will go to the Friar Athletic Fund, which supports Providence College Athletics.
Friar greats Lenny Wilkens, Dave Gavitt, Ernie DiGregorio, Kevin Stacom, Ron Wilson, Tim Army, Joe Hassett and Justin Farley all will be participating in the event. Providence head coaches Tim Welsh and Paul Pooley also will be in attendance.
Next year's Golf Classic is scheduled for June 25, 2001 at the Warwick Country Club. For more information, please call 401-865-GOPC.
