FRIENDS OF FRIAR HOCKEY

Dear Friar Hockey Fan,

Welcome back to another exciting season of Friar Hockey! I am very excited to have joined the Providence College family. I have spent the last few months getting familiar with our programs, and I feel that the Friends of Friar Hockey Association is one of our strongest and most loyal fan groups.

Over the past three years, Head Coach Paul Pooley and his support staff have worked diligently with the Friends of Friar Hockey Association to revitalize the group. We currently have over 400 members, and our goal this season is to build upon the past success of the Friends of Friar Hockey Association in order to move successfully into the future.

Your support is vital to the development of the hockey program. In the upcoming season, you will see a great deal of change as we continue to try to make Friar hockey one of the top programs in the country. We assure you that the changes being made to our program are for the benefit of our fans and Friar hockey. We will continue to host Friends of Friar Hockey events, such as road trips, banquets, and Skate with the Friars. We want to provide you and your family with an unforgettable experience of being part of our team and our program.

In order to achieve this goal, we have made some changes to the structure of the Friends of Friars Hockey Association. The Friends of Friar Hockey Association is going to mirror the College Development Office's structure for donation levels. This allows you to have distinct benefits dependent on your donation level. All membership levels include you and your immediate family members. You will be recognized as a donor to the College, but your tax-deductible donation will go directly to the hockey program. This is our way of better recognizing you and your family for your support of Friar Athletics.

If you would like to become a member, please fill out the enclosed form. All checks can be made payable to Friends of Friar Hockey Association for the appropriate amount, and mailed to Providence College Athletics, c/o Jennifer Perrault, Alumni Hall, Providence, RI 02918. If you have any questions regarding membership, please contact Jennifer Perrault at (401)865-2733.

Thank you for your interest and support of Providence College Men's Hockey. Go Friars!
