Women's Basketball Releases Two Players From Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Junior guard Keisha Blackwell (Baltimore, Md.) and junior forward/center Quiana Copeland (Mattapan, Mass.) have been released from the Providence College women's basketball team. The announcement was made on Friday, February 6.

Blackwell played 14 games for the Friars. She averaged 7.6 points, 2.8 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.7 rebounds per game. Copeland appeared in 15 games and averaged 4.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocked shots per game.
