Ways To Give

Pledge Form

The Friar Forever Athletic Fund provides support for the Providence College Athletic Department and student-athletes through various avenues, including contributions to the annual fund, endowments, matching gifts and planned giving. Providence College is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization. Any amount of your donation that results in priority event seating is 80% tax deductible. All other contributions are 100% tax deductible unless otherwise specified by IRS regulations. The following are methods of giving and gift destinations:

Annual Cash Donations:
Cash, check, and Visa/MasterCard/American Express transactions are the most common forms of annual support.

Gifts of Investment:
Appreciated securities, real property or tangible personal assets are accepted by the Friars Forever Athletic Fund and Providence College.

Matching Gifts:
Many companies match employee contributions. Gift credit is given for your personal donation and the company's matching gift.

Gifts-in-Kind:
Contributions of product, merchandise, equipment, or services are often provided in support of the Athletic Department. These gifts may satisfy priority seating requirements. Gift-in-kind donations must receive approval from the Friars Forever Athletic Fund and are reviewed on a yearly basis.

Capital Project Donations:
These gifts count towards a donor's overall seating priority points.

Endowed Gifts:
Endowments offer a donor the opportunity to sustain a family name in perpetuity.

Estate Gifts:
The Friars Forever Athletic Fund accepts planned gifts through wills and bequests.

Life Income Gifts:
Charitable trusts or gift annuities allow a donor to make a major gift while retaining an income for a fixed period of time or for life.

Seat Licensing Contributions:
Prime season ticket holders at the Dunkin Donuts Center for our PC Men's Basketball program require a seat licensing fee that supports athletic facilities improvements at Providence College. In order to compete at the highest level in the Big East we must consistently improve the student-athlete experience at PC. The licensing fee is 80% tax deductible based on IRS law.
