PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College men's hockey has added
Ryder Cali (Penetanguishene, Ont.) to the roster for the 2026-27 season. Cali spent the 2025-26 season with the North Bay Battalion of the OHL.
The 6-foot-2, 209-pound forward tallied 16 goals and 20 assists for 36 points over 47 games in his rookie season with the Battalion. He recorded 11 multi-point games in 2025-26, including three multi-goal performances. Cali earned OHL Rookie of the Week honors on Oct. 20 after registering three goals and an assist over three games. He finished the season ranked No. 25 on the NHL Central Scouting rankings for North American skaters entering the 2026 NHL Draft.
Cali also represented North Bay in the 2026 Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game in January, where he scored a goal and landed five shots on net. He participated in the 2026 IIHF Under-18 World Championships for Canada, earning one assist and a +5 rating over five games.
